Came here for dinner for my cousins bachelorette weekend. Love a great BYOB and this place came highly reccomended. Service was great and food was phenomenal. Would definitely go back if I go back to that area. The calamari was EXCELLENT, burrito a peach salad was ok, the peaches weren't ripe so that was a little underwhelming. The Halibut that had on special was incredible, so fresh and cooked perfectly. The filet was delicious but the peppercorn(in my opinion) was a little too much to my liking. The seafood risotto was very flavorful and cooked perfectly as well. The gnocchi was great too.

Food was amazing. Not an extensive menu but still a good selection. Pork chop dish was phenomenal! And desserts, which often disappoint, did not here! It was a super enjoyable meal, start to finish! Highly recommend! More

This is a great option while walking or shopping at a famous Washington Street promenade in Cape May. We sat down in the back yard of the restaurant and it was great. Loved the food. Service was efficient and pretty quick. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Our group of 4 has a fantastic dinner here. Space is a little on the tight side but the service and food were top notch. Everyone's meal was excellent. The filet, pork chop and short ribs were served hot and tasted amazing. All 4 meals were perfect. Then to top it off, everyone had a different dessert and everyone loved their dessert which I often find can often be disappointing, but not here. All 4 of us talked about how good the dinner was on the ride home. We dined on a slow mid week early December night and the place filled up. I'd recommend making a reservation.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE SEVERE ALLERGIES AS THEY DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. For many years this had been my favorite restaurant and we went there frequently. The food was good and we never had a problem with the service and I had been willing to ignore their rising prices, shrinking portions and slip in quality until they almost killed me. The last time I went there I shared my allergy as I always do with the waiter. Unfortunately this allergen was served to me and I had an immediate bad reaction. There was no concern or apology they were simply concerned about their liability and actually treated me with hostility despite the fact that the waiter openly admitted that he was indeed told of the allergy. We were made to feel like the bad guys! This was the last straw, I will not support a heartless business! Fortunately there are plenty of good restaurants in Cape May.

My wife and I had dinner at Tishas. Service was excellent, atmosphere great, food was really good but came out luke warm at best, almost cold. Wanted to order soup and salad first before deciding on entrees but they insisted on ordering all at once. As a result, our entrees must have sat waiting getting cold while we finished our soup and salad. Very disappointing considering everything else about the place was top notch.

Tisha’s is the kind of small, cozy spot that immediately makes you feel at ease. The intimate setting makes it perfect for a date night or a quiet, reflective meal where the ambiance adds to the experience
It’s BYOB, which made the evening even more special — I brought a bottle of Bollinger La Grande Année to mark the occasion, and it paired beautifully with the meal.
I started with the PEI mussels in a Thai coconut curry. The broth was rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. I skipped the bread but made good use my spoon to include a good helping of sauce along with delicious mussels. For my entrée, I had the Atlantic salmon topped with jumbo shrimp, served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. Everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.
Dessert was bread pudding, just the right amount of indulgent. I skipped the ice cream this time, and honestly, it stood perfectly well on its own.
Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Tisha’s is absolutely worth a return visit — a perfect spot when you want something relaxed, well-executed, and very memorable.

Service and atmosphere WAS lovely, can’t deny that but the low stars are for the food itself. Honestly, the food was pretty underwhelming.
We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was heavily breaded with a peppery batter and then covered in a spicy mayo type sauce. It was cooked well, but there was just too much flavor and batter happening. It almost felt like we were eating fried chicken. The flavor of the calamari was lost in all the other competing flavors.
My partner had the fillet. He ordered it medium rare, it was unfortunately over cooked and the meat itself just didn’t taste how it should for the price. Underwhelming, not bad, just not amazing.
I ordered the special, scallops sambuca. The sauce was very tasty and the scallops were cooked very well. But again for the price…it was starved over linguine and we were disappointed that it wasn’t fresh pasta. That would have made the dish a 10.
Again, it was a beautiful restaurant and service was fantastic. We had a reservation for 5:30, outside, seated right away and the restaurant was nice and quiet at this time. But for the price, we think the food could have been better.

Swung by Trisha’s while visiting Cape May. Just needed some appetizers to hold us over. The scallops and risotto was terrific. Perfect size for an appetizer! Perfectly cooked scallops. Terrifically made risotto. Good service, but a little slow (perhaps understaffed?). They only sell wine by the bottle and not by the glass because they are BYOB. Been here once before and we recall it being terrific food and well presented.

I was eager to try Tish's in Washington Square, Cape May, as my Mom had been wanting to go for a while. We visited for lunch on Memorial Day weekend, and I specifically chose lunch as I'm not a fan of risotto, which is prevalent on the dinner menu. The atmosphere was lovely, and the guests at the neighboring tables added to the charm. However, it was evident that the restaurant was understaffed, with our waiter juggling multiple tables both inside and outside. We waited for about an hour for our fried calamari and Cobb salad. One of the appetizer dishes was dirty, but the waiter promptly replaced it.
While another guest mentioned that everything is freshly prepared, waiting an hour for lunch seemed excessive. The fried calamari was tasty, and the honey mustard drizzle added a unique touch, although the portion size was small. The Cobb salad with blackened chicken was missing the raspberry vinaigrette and lacked blue cheese crumbles. The Italian Burger, with roasted peppers, baby spinach, Fontana cheese, and balsamic drizzle, was flavorful, but the fries were underseasoned and the roll slightly soggy.
Food rating 2.5/5 stars
The ambiance was elegant, earning a 5/5 rating. The service was a bit slow, likely due to being short-staffed, but our waiter worked tirelessly, and we appreciated his efforts. The hostess was also accommodating when we were late for our reservation. It's challenging for me to rate the service definitively given the circumstances.
Overall, I find myself on the fence about returning to Tish's. I'd like to give them another chance, as I believe they may have been understaffed or faced unexpected challenges during our visit. Additionally, I appreciated the BYOB policy. Our total bill came to $80 with tip, $5 for metered parking, and a $20 bottle of wine. So overall $105 for two lunch.

Sadly, our table of six last night had the worst waitress. She did not crack a smile and she had the personality of a doorknob. She even got irritated when we asked to hear the specials again. I doubt we will ever be back. the food was good so I had to give the stars for the food, not the service. More

My fiance and I came here at the recommendation of a friend and we had a very nice time! The space inside is small so make sure you make a reservation well in advance (which we did) if you don’t like outdoor seating. I LOVE the location of the restaurant, it’s such a cute little walkable area. The food was fantastic and the service was very attentive, warm, and efficient. The desserts were our favorite part, especially the flourless chocolate cake. All the desserts are made in house as well. I would absolutely recommend it here and would love to come back.

We had an incredible dinner at Tisha’s last night. From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the pumpkin gnocchi and calamari, both of which were outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For our main courses, we enjoyed the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and a special featuring linguine with seafood, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bread pudding for dessert was also incredible!!
The service was excellent, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and every dish exceeded our expectations. A truly five-star experience—we will definitely be back!

We have been here multiple times over the past few years, and the food and service are always above and beyond. Danny has been our server the last two times we have been here and he remembered us and even where we sat the last time. We came today to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary while in Cape May. We are from Pittsburgh so we are only here once a year or so. We always make a point to stop here for dinner while vacationing in CM. The food is always delicious but the service is more so what keeps us coming back. I can’t speak highly enough about this restaurant. If you’re looking for fine dining while in Cape May, this is the place to go. Thank you, Tisha’s, for always making us feel special!

We had dinner at Tisha's Fine Dining in the Washington Square mall (pedestrian street).
It is a BYO, so we did. However, they do sell local wines by the bottle, and there are some good choices.
We got a table outside on Wasington Street on a perfect night. Not much foot traffic in early May, so it was very nice.
The service was attentive, and we ordered a rasberry-goat cheese salad, which we split. It was very good, the dressing and goat cheese were special.
For dinner, my wife got a gluten-free clam, shrimp, and scallop risotto. She loved it and would get it again.
I went with a filet, medium rare, which was cooked perfectly (See my photo). It had mashed potatoes and crispy onions on top. I really enjoyed it.
For dessert, we split the flourless chocolate cake. Very rich, but we found a way to finish it accompanied by the last of our red wine.
Overall, the food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere sitting outside made for a perfect night.
We were pleased and will go back again.

This restaurant deserves five stars all around! The service was great. The atmosphere is quaint. But the food is definitely spot on. Everything from the appetizers right through to the dessert was amazing. No complaints had by anyone at the dinner table, and we went with a big group. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more luxurious meal.
